A third-party review will follow the same audit process as the investor would perform on the loan. The quality review can be customized to each client’s specifications and requirements. The results of the quality review prove beneficial to ensure proper training, performance, and adherence to investor guidelines.
AMOS currently completes a third-party review on four stages within the Loss Mitigation hierarchy as follows:
In-depth review of the initial stages for a loan modification by reviewing the request for hardship assistance and related documents required to complete a loan modification review.
(Trial Plans and Final Modifications)
Allows for a thorough review on key factors, ranging from income review and verification to validation of the loan modification per investor guidelines.
Determined by investor guidelines and reviewed based on verification of required documentation (Junior Liens and lien release negotiation, Mortgage Insurance, investor loan approval, and more)
The Short Sale Closings are reviewed for completeness, including verification of accurate HUD-1 Settlement Statement received in a timely manner, wire funds received and applied and confirmation of communication with the Realtor, Borrower, and Title Company as required.

Reporting of all audit findings is generated and provided on a weekly and monthly basis, which may vary based on client specific requirements.
