Summary

NRS is a call center operation currently providing customer service and collection services to the government, healthcare, and financial services sectors. NRS is looking for a Vice President to expand its client base in the consumer debt and customer service sector. The candidate will have contacts specifically within the auto, revolving debt, and recovery lines of business.

This position is responsible for both new client growth and retention. Within the established framework of the position the Vice President monitors and assists in the daily sales operations of NRS, in a manner that results in maximum profitable sales, low turnover, superior customer relations, brand growth, proper accounts receivable record, positive relations with employees, and compliance with company policies/procedures and the positions agreement. This position is classified as salaried with bonus..

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Grow and develop new client base within the consumer debt and customer service sector, along with the development of recovery services.
  • Ensure the business has an appropriate sales plan/focus, regularly review sales pipeline to ensure balance of sales efforts between short-term and longer-term prospects.
  • Lead development of key account strategies weekly and plans to accelerate adoption.
  • Report findings and be prepared to communicate results effectively.
  • Solid communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Expand sales driving improved customer penetration.
  • Forecasting of sales
  • Closely partner with marketing to develop programs+ marketing plans that win with customers.
  • Utilize CRM tool to drive broad outreach efforts while tracking all sales efforts.

Skills

  • Sales experience in the debt, customer service, and recovery of various nature.
  • Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of (3) year’s experience within the business development arena.
  • Self-starter who works with minimal supervision and can balance multiple assignments.

  • Significant experience in growing consumer portfolio within the call center environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 50+% annually.

Education/Experience:

  • Extensive financial lending experience required with strong understanding of business development and products provided by the company preferred.
  • Previous experience with consumer debt, auto, credit card, call centers etc.
  • 3-5 years working directly with financial recovery and lending.
  • Computer literate including experience with Word, Excel and Windows, as well as Sales Force applications required.
  • Detail oriented with ability and willingness to meet required company objectives.
  • Exposure to activities and standard operating procedures of the Operations team preferred.
